Chelsea Pinky, Glynn Pogue and Sade Parham are the hosts of Black Girls Texting; a 1-hour dialogue unpacking conversations held in their group chat—a space they consider the most modern medium for unfiltered exchanges between girlfriends in real time. First debuting in 2018, the straight forward simplicity of the Black Girls Texting title is a play on the idea that, yes, Black girls can make magic but, as human beings, we also do the everyday; Black Girls Work, Black Girls Cook, Black Girls Laugh, Black Girls Travel, Black Girls Live, Black Girls Text. BGT has over 250k downloads, with listeners from across the country and around-the-world. Past episodes have tackled gentrification, pop culture, sex positivity, colorism and fatherhood in the Black community.

Through their Black Girl Doing Sh*t segment, Chelsea, Glynn and Sade have interviewed a host of iconic women across industries including Serena Williams, Allyson Felix, Amanda Seales, and Lena Waithe.

Black Girls Texting has garnered press mentions from leading publications including Essence Magazine, US Weekly and The Recreationalist, and has collaborated with major brands including Outdoor Voices and Ketel One.

Chelsea, Glynn and Sade are also the founders of Blue Water Girls, launching in Summer 2024.
